The Morgan Park-Simeon rivalry stretches back decades and exists in every sport. The schools are the stars of South Side Public League athletics. Not long ago, Chicago Public Schools moved the teams into different divisions, so that they wouldn’t face each other in football every season. The rivalry had grown too hot.
