The Actual News is a facts-only newsroom. It gathers copy, strips opinion and partisan skew, and prints the recorded core. The site is published at theactualnews.com.

The desk ingests public RSS and Atom from locked newsrooms and official agencies (national papers and TV, metro desks, state/local outlets, USGS, NASA, NWS). It strips opinion and stores attributed records with a link back to the outlet. It does not take stories from social media or aggregators, does not scrape paywalls, and does not take a licensed AP or Reuters wire. If a desk is short, the digest records a shortfall instead of inventing copy.

A seeded reader account is on the sign-in page. Guests may read the full feed and run the stripper without an account.
