San Marcos man accused of murder had lengthy criminal record

Hays County jail and court records show Garcia has been booked into jail more than 20 times since 2007. His previous cases include charges involving criminal trespassing, drug possession, burglary and other offenses. Many of those cases were dismissed or declined by prosecutors.
